The 1st round of the Italian domestic cup competition, Coppa Italia, continues on Monday night and features this all-Serie B encounter between hosts, Frosinone, and visitors, Pisa, when the two teams clash at the Stadio Benito Stirpe in what will be both side's opening game of this new Italian season.

Defeats to Cremonese and Ascoli, both of which were away from home in 2-1 losses, outweighed the points that the visitors picked up by way of draws with the likes of Bari, Catanzaro and Sudtirol respectively, while the bigger picture shows Pisa managed to collect just four wins in their last 14 league matches in the Italian second tier.

It is also worth noting that three of these four wins registered by Pisa were actually achieved on home soil at their Arena Garibaldi where they recorded important victories against Ternana, Palermo and FeralpiSalo respectively, but this means results away from home were even worse for the visitors.

Indeed, Pisa managed to capture just three wins in their last 16 league matches on the road whilst also being handed eight defeats in the process as well, which does not bode well for this upcoming cup-tie at the Stadio Benito Stirpe on Monday evening.
