Mainz were involved in yet another draw in the German Bundesliga last Saturday when the hosts were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Wolfsburg which extended Mainz's winless run in the German top flight to seven games and a fifth stalemate, while Union Berlin remain perched just above the relegation zone after a 0-0 draw away from home at Freiburg.
