However, not all results have gone Freiburg's way overall as the visitors had previously managed to capture just a single win from their preceding six games which came in the form of a comprehensive 5-0 rout of Backa Topola in the Europa League but the visitors also slipped to three defeats within this six-game period as well.

Two losses in the German Bundesliga to Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 and a 3-1 loss away from home at RB Leipzig along with a 3-1 defeat at home to Paderborn in the German domestic cup competition suggests this upcoming trip to the nation's capital to take on West Ham could be another tricky outing for Christian Streich's side on Thursday night.
