Trabzonspor hold a useful looking 2-0 advantage ahead of this upcoming 2nd leg tie of their 2nd qualifying round fixture in the Europa League following last week's solid 2-0 win away from home at the Futbalový štadión MFK Ružomberok in Slovakia which gives the hosts a decent platform from which to finish the job against their Slovakian visitors, while Ruzomberok picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at home with Dukla Banska Bystrica in the Slovakian Super Liga on the weekend.

Trabzonspor will now be going in search of a third consecutive win on the trot after previously recording a 4-2 home win against Ankaragucu along with the aforementioned 2-0 win last week against Ruzomberok while the bigger picture in terms of results will give the Turkish hosts plenty of confidence for this return leg.

The bigger picture shows Ruzomberok have collected just two wins in their last 13 games overall, both of which were achieved on home soil at their Futbalový štadión MFK Ružomberok but also includes slipping to five defeats overall.

The Slovakian visitors had previously strung together an impressive five-match winning streak on their travels which consisted of victories gained on the road at Zemplin Michalovce, Zlate Moravce, DAC 1904, Podbrezova and Lipany respectively, but Ondrej Smetana's side have since struggled to pick up results on the road in subsequent trips.

Ruzomberok have now failed to win any of their last seven outings on their travels which consist of three draws but also four defeats and losses away at the hands of Spartak Trnava, Slovan Bratislava, Liptovsky Mikulas and Tobol respectively do not bode well for the visitors ahead of this return leg against Trabzonspor.
