Despite suffering two losses on the trot before last weekend, Tottenham rediscovered their form by recording a resounding and comprehensive 4-0 rout away from home at Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Roma slipped to a third defeat in four games on Sunday when they were dealt a 1-0 defeat away from home at Napoli and the Italian side hit the road again on Thursday night when they travel to England's capital to take on a Tottenham outfit brimming with confidence.

Previous defeats at the hands of Galatasaray 3-2 away from home on Matchday 4 of this season's Europa League was followed by an even more disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Ipswich Town in the Premier League, but overall form and results still remain reasonable enough.

Results overall for the Italian visitors have certainly taken something of a nosedive in recent weeks as Roma have registered just two wins from their last 10 matches in all competitions which came by virtue of victories against Dinamo Kiev in the Europa League and Torino in Serie A.

However, six defeats within this previous 10-game sequence include a 1-0 loss away from home at Elfsborg in the Europa League while four of the six defeats in total were dealt out to Claudio Ranieri's Roma side on their travels as well.

Having managed to pick up just one win from their opening four games in this season's European competition overall along with gaining just three victories in their previous 18 outings on the road, Roma look to have their work cut out against a Tottenham outfit who will be eager to further claims for a possible top eight finish in the Europa League table.
