Wolves were handed a second defeat on the trot on Saturday in the Premier League when they lost 2-1 away from home at the current league leaders Arsenal which followed a previous and somewhat controversial 3-2 loss at Fulham, but the hosts return to the more familiar surroundings of Molineux on Tuesday night where they will play host to a Burnley outfit who registered a crushing 5-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Wolves have slipped to a few defeats in recent times in the Premier League as they were also dealt a 2-1 defeat away from home at Sheffield United but the west midlands club have also produced some impressive results lately in the top flight as well, as Gary O'Neill's side have picked up some important wins in their last nine matches overall.

A previous 2-1 win away from home at fellow promoted Championship side Luton Town has been Burnley's only other highlight in what has otherwise been a miserable and tough campaign as the Lancashire visitors have also been handed no fewer than 11 defeats within their 14 league matches played to date.

Prior to Saturday's landslide victory against Sheffield United, Burnley had slipped to a worrying six defeats on the trot which included defeats on the road at Brentford, Bournemouth and Arsenal, while the bigger picture shows Burnley have managed to capture just these two wins in their previous 18 matches in the English top flight so they look set to struggle in the west midlands on Tuesday night.
