A resurgent Wolves outfit made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League last weekend when the west midlands club hammered Fulham 4-1 away from home at Craven Cottage which in turn lifted Saturday's hosts out of the relegation zone.

Bournemouth experienced the opposite in fortunes as the south coast club slumped to a second defeat on the trot last Saturday when The Cherries lost 2-1 at home to Brighton in an all-south coast clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Despite producing a terrible start to this Premier League campaign which saw Wolves fail to win any of their opening eight league matches which included being handed no fewer than seven defeats, Wolves have since staged something of a recovery under manager Gary O'Neil.

Indeed, the west midlands hosts have put together a four-match unbeaten sequence in the English top flight which consists of picking up two precious wins along with useful points gained in two draws as well.

Important victories gained over Southampton and the aforementioned Fulham followed points picked up in stalemates with Brighton and Crystal Palace, both of which ended in entertaining 2-2 draws.

However, it may be too early to suggest Wolves have turned a corner but the goals market looks promising as no fewer than 10 out of Wolves' 12 league matches to date have resulted in both teams scoring.

Bournemouth have recently slipped to back-to-back defeats at the hands of Brentford and Brighton in 3-2 and 2-1 losses respectively, so The Cherries will make their way up to the west midlands no doubt looking to avoid a third defeat on the trot in the Premier League at Molineux.

The visitors had previously collected three impressive wins within their preceding five games overall in the English top flight thanks to picking up victories against Southampton, Arsenal and Manchester City, but it should be noted that all three wins were registered on home soil at their Vitality Stadium.

Results away from home so far this season though have been less impressive as Andoni Iraola's side have managed to collect just one win from their six outings on the road to date which includes being dealt three defeats as well.

The bigger picture further underlines Bournemouth's problems away from home in the Premier League as The Cherries have managed to capture just three wins from their last 16 outings on the road in the top flight whilst slipping to nine defeats in the process.

Therefore, the goals market appeals for this upcoming clash, especially as both teams have scored in eight out of Bournemouth's 12 league matches overall so far this term.
