Tottenham's three-match winning streak in the Premier League came to an abrupt halt when they were dealt a 4-2 defeat away from home at Brighton on Thursday night while Bournemouth picked up a fourth win on the trot in the English top flight following their comprehensive 3-0 home win against Fulham on Boxing Day.

Recent wins against Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Everton had seemingly turned Tottenham's faltering form around but these have been Spurs' only wins from their previous nine games overall which also includes five defeats as well, three of which were handed to the north London side on home soil at their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after defeats to Chelsea, Aston Villa and West Ham.

The Bournemouth revolution continued down on the south coast on Boxing Day as Andoni Iraola's side grabbed a fourth league win on the trot in the top flight when they registered a convincing 3-0 home win against Fulham which has helped the visitors up into a promising 12th place in the Premier League table.

That recent win has now made it seven wins in nine games for The Cherries and the south coast club are now level on points with Chelsea and Wolves prior to this trip to north London to take on a potentially wobbling Tottenham outfit.

Within these seven wins, Bournemouth have collected four of these on their travels in recent weeks with wins collected at Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest respectively which is in stark contrast to the poor start that Bournemouth made in the opening months of the new season.

Bournemouth had previously failed to win any of their opening nine games overall, losing six of these games, but with eight of Bournemouth's last 10 games also resulting in Over 2.5 goals, the goals market certainly appeals here on Sunday afternoon.
