Liverpool made it three wins on the trot in midweek in their Champions League 1st leg tie against French Ligue 1 side PSG as The Reds secured a 1-0 win in Paris and the merseyside club now return to their beloved Anfield for this upcoming clash against relegation-haunted Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Southampton by contrast slumped to a third defeat on the trot last time out in the Premier League when the south coast club were dealt a heavy and comprehensive 4-0 thrashing away from home at Chelsea which has now left The Saints a significant 13 points adrift of fourth from bottom club Wolves and safety.
