Fulham were unable to make it three league wins on the trot in last weekend's Premier League clash away from home at Wolves as The Cottagers slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Molineux but Marco Silva's side return to the home surroundings of Craven Cottage for this upcoming all-London encounter against a Tottenham side who swept aside high-flying Aston Villa 4-0 away at Villa Park.

Fulham had previously racked up wins against Manchester United and Brighton in 2-1 and 3-0 victories respectively but although results have produced a pretty mixed bag of returns for The Cottagers, Fulham and manager Marco Silva can be very satisfied with their season's work so far in this campaign as the hosts have successfully avoided any relegation dramas this term, being a significant 14 points above the relegation zone.

After having endured a dismal spell of results in the Premier League from early November through to early December which saw Tottenham subjected to four defeats in the five games played during that period which included defeats at the hands of Chelsea, Wolves, Aston Villa and West Ham, the visitors have since turned their season around in impressive fashion.

Ange Postecoglou's side have been handed just two further losses in their subsequent 12 games overall in the English top flight and having collected no fewer than eight wins during this recent encouraging period, Spurs look well equipped to take all three points here on Saturday evening, especially as Tottenham have lost just twice on the road throughout this season's campaign.
