Chelsea could only manage a 2-2 draw at home against Bournemouth in midweek in the English top flight at Stamford Bridge but although The Blues gained a point, that stalemate only extended the hosts' winless run in the Premier League to five games overall, leaving the London club in fifth place in the table.

Wolves slumped to a second defeat on the trot in the Premier League during the week when the west midlands club were handed a heavy 3-0 loss away from home at Newcastle United but the visitors still remain just above the relegation zone but now level on points with third from bottom club, Ipswich Town.
