Chelsea registered an impressive 2-0 home win against north London side Tottenham in midweek at Stamford Bridge and The Blues hold home advantage again on Sunday afternoon when they'll play host to another London club, West Ham, as the hosts look to continue their promising run of results under manager Mauricio Pochettino, while West Ham gained a point in a 2-2 draw at home with Liverpool last weekend which halted two defeats on the trot for The Hammers.

Following back-to-back defeats at the hands of Liverpool and Wolves towards the end of January and early February, Chelsea have embarked upon an encouraging run of results in the Premier League which has seen Chelsea suffer just one further defeat in their subsequent 11 matches overall.

West Ham steadied the ship with a creditable 2-2 draw with Liverpool last weekend in the Premier League following recent back-to-back defeats at the hands of Fulham and Crystal Palace, while the last few weeks have yielded just the single win from their previous eight games overall.

That rare success came in the shape of a 2-1 win away from home at Wolves but The Hammers have also slipped to three defeats within these eight games which have resulted in losses against Newcastle United as well as the aforementioned Fulham and Crystal Palace results.

The bigger picture shows West Ham have managed to collect just three wins from their previous 16 games overall in the English top flight which has resulted in West Ham dropping down the Premier League table to ninth place and having picked up just two wins in their last seven away games as well, the visitors look to have their work cut out against a fast improving Chelsea outfit.

West Ham have also slipped to four defeats in these last seven away games while there could also be a few goals on show here on Sunday as four of west Ham's last four games have also produced four goals or more as well.
