The international break could not have come sooner for Saturday's hosts, Burnley, as Vincent Kompany's side were dealt a heavy 3-1 defeat away from home at Arsenal just before the break which became a fifth straight loss for the Lancashire club while West Ham would have been both relieved and satisfied with their 3-2 home win against Nottingham Forest which ended a previously worrying run of three defeats on the trot.

That welcome and much needed win has helped lift West Ham up into the top half of the Premier League table and into ninth spot and the visitors will be eyeing off another important three points on Saturday afternoon at Turf Moor as they seek to extend Burnley's woes.
