Burnley slumped to a second defeat on the trot and a fourth loss in six games towards the end of December when The Clarets suffered a 3-2 defeat away from home at Aston Villa, while Luton Town were also handed a 3-2 defeat last time out in the Premier League as they lost at home to an inconsistent Chelsea outfit.

Another thing seemingly in Luton Town's favour is the fact that of the visitors' four wins to date this term, two of these have been recorded on the road which may stand them in good stead for Friday night's tussle.
