Having failed to win any of their last three matches in the Premier League which includes two defeats and a draw, Sunday afternoon's hosts, Brighton, will be desperate to return to winning ways when they welcome Fulham to their AMEX Stadium while Fulham will be wanting to produce a positive response to their recent defeat to Tottenham.

Looking at Brighton first, and The Seagulls have been handed defeats by the likes of Aston Villa 6-1 and Manchester City 2-1 which have pegged back Roberto de Zerbi's charges in recent weeks and has resulted in Brighton dropping down to seventh place in the Premier League table.

Nevertheless, Brighton will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways this Sunday with the visit of an inconsistent looking Fulham outfit, especially as Brighton have lost just once in their opening five home games of this new season along with collecting three wins in the process.

Fulham were dealt a 2-0 defeat on Monday night against London rivals, Tottenham, which became a fourth league defeat for The Cottagers so far this season with a tough looking trip to Brighton on Sunday afternoon ahead for Marco Silva's side.

The visitors have managed to capture just three wins to date in their opening nine games overall in this season's top flight campaign which came in the shape of wins against Everton, Luton Town and Sheffield United, all of whom currently occupy places in the bottom five of the Premier League table.

In addition, two of these three wins were achieved on home soil at Craven Cottage and although Fulham recorded a 1-0 win at Everton in their opening away game of the new season, the London club have failed to win any of their subsequent four outings on the road, suffering defeats at Manchester City 5-1 and the aforementioned Tottenham 2-0 in the process.

Therefore, Fulham's prospects do not look great ahead of this upcoming trip to the AMEX Stadium especially as The Cottagers have managed to muster a meagre four wins from their last 15 outings on their travels.

Brighton at home have been a tough proposition for visiting teams in the Premier League for some time as The Seagulls have been dealt just two defeats in their previous 13 home games whilst picking up eight wins in the process, so Fulham look to be up against it here.
