Arsenal will be keen to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon when they take on lower half outfit Everton at the Emirates Stadium following last weekend's frustrating and disappointing 1-1 draw away from home at Fulham.

Everton were not in action last weekend as their merseyside derby against local rivals Liverpool was postponed due to adverse weather conditions but nevertheless, The Toffees will head into this upcoming clash in confident mood having previously registered a comprehensive 4-0 home win against Wolves.

Despite bringing a five-match unbeaten sequence into this weekend's Premier League action, draws with Chelsea and Fulham have meant that Arsenal have now slipped to six points behind the current league leaders Liverpool and The Gunners know they can ill afford another stalemate this Saturday.

Everton's morale received a welcome boost last time out in the Premier League when The Toffees registered a resounding and vitally important 4-0 home win against Wolves which in turn has opened up a five-point cushion between the merseyside visitors and the relegation zone ahead of this weekend's top flight action.

The visitors had previously endured a five-game sequence without a win in the English top flight which consisted of three draws with Fulham, West Ham and Brentford but also included losses at the hands of Southampton and Manchester United, both of which were away from home.

Everton have managed to record just three wins so far in what has been another nervy Premier League season so far for Sean Dyche's side as they have picked up important wins against Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town and Wolves all of whom sit in the bottom four places of the Premier League table.

However, The Toffees have also slipped to six defeats so far this term as well, four of which have been inflicted upon Everton away from home with defeats incurred at Tottenham, Aston Villa, Southampton and Manchester United.

Indeed, Everton's form away from home has been woeful, collecting just one win from their previous 18 outings on the road.
