Arsenal's impressive four-match winning streak in the Premier League was brought to an abrupt halt last weekend when The Gunners were handed a 1-0 defeat away from home at Aston Villa but the north London side return to home surroundings for this Sunday afternoon's clash against Brighton no doubt looking to return to winning ways while the visitors were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw at home by Burnley.

That narrow loss at Villa Park means Arsenal have lost top spot in the Premier League table to Liverpool who hold a slender one-point lead over Mikel Arteta's side heading into this weekend's action but having previously racked up impressive wins against Burnley 3-1, Brentford 1-0, Wolves 2-1 and a 4-3 win away at Luton Town, Arsenal will be keen to rekindle this previous form against The Seagulls.

The bigger picture again looks promising for Arsenal's Premier League campaign this season as The Gunners have suffered just the two defeats out of their 16 league matches to date, both of which were inflicted upon the north London club away from home with losses incurred at Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

Brighton currently occupy eighth place in the Premier League table and four points shy of fifth placed Tottenham despite picking up recent wins against Nottingham Forest 3-2 away from home along with a 2-1 home win against Brentford, but three defeats and five draws within their last 10 matches overall have slowed Roberto de Zerbi's side down in recent times.

Interestingly, Brighton's three defeats within this period were all dished out to The Seagulls on their travels with losses at Aston Villa 6-1, Manchester City 2-1 and a 3-2 loss at Chelsea which also include the Over 2.5 goals market also being successful.

There are very few concerns over results and form on home soil at their AMEX Stadium as Brighton have lost just once in their nine home games so far this season but results on the road have been fairly inconsistent in this campaign.
