Blackburn Rovers were involved in a third draw on the trot on the weekend in the Championship when the Lancashire hosts were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Norwich City but nevertheless this result extended Blackburn's winless sequence in all competitions to four games, while Newcastle United were dealt a comprehensive 4-1 defeat away from home at Arsenal on Saturday night in the Premier League which ended a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Goals also look likely to feature here though in Tuesday night's FA Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers as no fewer than nine of Newcastle United's last 10 matches in all competitions have resulted in Over 2.5 goals being scored along with eight of these 10 games also producing four goals or more.

The north-east visitors have also captured four wins from their last five away games with wins collected at Sunderland, Fulham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest with the former two wins both being registered in the earlier rounds of this season's FA Cup, so Eddie Howe's side look more than capable of securing a win on the road here on Tuesday night, especially as The Magpies have lost just twice in their last eight FA Cup ties on the road.
