Aston Villa returned to winning ways in the Premier League last weekend when The Villans registered a 2-1 home win against Leicester City which also became a fifth win in eight games for the west midlands club and the hosts will be keen to gain another victory in this upcoming all-Premier League FA Cup clash against West Ham on Friday night.

West Ham suffered a second defeat on the trot in the English top flight last weekend when The Hammers were dealt a heavy 4-1 loss away from home at Manchester City which has prompted rumours that manager Lopetegui is expected to depart the club with former Brighton and Chelsea boss, Graham Potter, poised to take over the reigns.

The bigger picture shows West Ham have managed to muster just five wins within their last 19 matches in all competitions, three of which were achieved on home soil at the London Stadium along with being dealt nine defeats in the process as well.

Having also collected just two wins from their previous 10 outings on the road across all competitions as well whilst slipping to five defeats, West Ham look to have their work cut out ahead of this upcoming FA Cup 3rd round tie on Friday night.
