Aston Villa suffered a 2-0 defeat away from home at Wolves in the west midlands derby last Saturday at Molineux in the Premier League but The Villans will now hold home advantage at Villa Park when they play host to struggling Tottenham on Sunday evening in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

Tottenham's woes deepened in midweek when Spurs were handed a comprehensive 4-0 thrashing away from home against Liverpool at Anfield in the EFL Cup semi-final as the north London club's slender 1-0 lead heading into this 2nd leg tie quickly evaporated and became Tottenham's fourth defeat in their last seven games in all competitions.

Aston Villa have produced a mixed bag of results in recent times overall as the west midlands hosts have registered four wins, three draws but have also slipped to three defeats within their last 10 matches in all competitions.
