Plymouth Argyle were unable to capitalise on their impressive 3-2 home win against Sunderland last weekend in the Championship as The Pilgrims slumped to a third league defeat following a 1-0 loss away from home at West Brom, while Luton Town made it two wins on the trot in the Championship last weekend with a 2-1 home win against Sheffield Wednesday and the visitors may well fancy their chances of walking away with something down in Devon on Friday night.

Plymouth Argyle once again find themselves in familiar territory in the early Championship standings as The Pilgrims occupy a place in the lower regions of the table having managed to pick up just the single win to date in this season's campaign.

However, Luton Town's spirits have been raised by capturing recent back-to-back wins against the likes of Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday and these victories will serve as a welcome boost ahead of this upcoming trip to Home Park.

Goals may also be in short supply from Luton Town's perspective as five of The Hatters' last 10 away games in all competitions have resulted in Under 2.5 goals but it should be noted that four of these games were towards the end of last season's Premier League campaign.
