Plymouth Argyle were unable to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship on the weekend when they were handed a 3-1 defeat away from home at Sunderland in what is one of the longest road trips in the English leagues, while Coventry City overcame a 1-0 deficit against Millwall at home as the Sky Blues registered a 2-1 victory which has seen the west midlands club climb into the play-off pack.

Plymouth Argyle remain in 15th place in the Championship table following that loss on the weekend but The Pilgrims will still be encouraged by their previous results in the English second tier which saw the hosts pick up points in draws with Watford 3-3 and Huddersfield Town 1-1 along with victories against Cardiff City 3-1 and a 1-0 win away from home at Swansea City as well.
