Luton Town's winless run in the Championship lengthened to three games overall on the weekend but nevertheless, The Hatters gained a point in the shape of a 1-1 draw at home with Swansea City and they now return to Kenilworth Road for this Tuesday night clash with Stoke City.

Luton Town will no doubt be relieved to be returning to the home surroundings of their Kenilworth Road ground for this midweek encounter especially as Rob Edwards's side had slipped to back-to-back losses away from home at Leeds United and Norwich City respectively.

Previously, Stoke City had suffered a 2-0 loss at home to Burnley and the bigger picture has seen the visitors also endure a pretty lean period of success in the domestic second tier as Chicho Pèlach's side have picked up just two wins from their previous 11 games overall.

Rare victories over the likes of Derby County and Blackburn Rovers in 2-1 and 2-0 wins respectively have been overshadowed by defeats at the hands of Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland, while also being involved in no fewer than six stalemates as well.

Results away from home have also been disappointing from Stoke City's point of view as the visitors have managed to achieve just two wins and two draws from their total of nine outings on the road so far this term but it has been five defeats on their travels which will be a major concern for manager Chicho Pèlach.
