Leeds United's impressive 17-match unbeaten sequence in the Championship was finally brought to an end away from home at Portsmouth on the weekend as the south coast side inflicted a somewhat unexpected 1-0 defeat upon Daniel Farke's side at Fratton Park, but the Yorkshire outfit will return to Elland Road on Wednesday night.

Millwall registered a useful looking 2-1 win away from home at Watford in the Championship over the weekend which helped maintain Millwall's mid-table position of 12th place in the English second tier table ahead of this tough looking trip to Yorkshire in midweek.

Leeds United still remain top of the Championship table but their previous two-point lead has been whittled down to just a slightly better goal difference over second placed local rivals Sheffield United ahead of this midweek action in the second tier.

Nevertheless, Daniel Farke's side will still feel confident about their chances of returning to winning ways at Elland Road on Wednesday night, especially as The Peacocks have suffered just the single defeat at home all season to date, whilst picking up no fewer than 14 wins within their 18 home games so far this term.
