Cardiff City were dealt a fifth defeat in six matches in the Championship on the weekend when The Bluebirds suffered a comprehensive 4-1 thrashing away from home at Norwich City, while Blackburn Rovers gained a point in a 2-2 draw with Lancashire rivals Preston NE which helped Rovers up into 17th place in the Championship table.
