St Kitts & Nevis also bring a six-match unbeaten record into this Group A opener which consists of five wins and a draw; home and away wins against Aruba, a 3-1 win away at Saint Martin (all in the earlier Nations League) and the aforementioned wins on penalties in the Gold Cup qualifiers.

However, this is the first time that St Kitts & Nevis have qualified for the Gold Cup proper and despite their recent winning momentum, they are expected to receive a rough ride in what looks to be a strong Group A and they will do well to avoid the wooden spoon in the group placings.
