Real Madrid were handed a particularly heavy 4-0 defeat in their recent El Clasico clash with old rivals Barcelona in La Liga, while AC Milan picked up a third win in four games on the weekend when they recorded a 1-0 win away from home at Monza in the Italian top flight.
