PSV slipped to two defeats on the trot to the same opposition on the Dutch domestic stage when the upcoming hosts were dealt a 3-2 loss away from home at Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Eredivisie which followed a 2-1 loss to the same team in the domestic KNB cup competition.

Arsenal drew 0-0 away from home at Nottingham Forest last weekend which made it just one win in four games in all competitions for The Gunners and the north London club face a tricky outing to Eindhoven on Tuesday night for this 1st leg of their Champions League tie against PSV.

However, the bigger picture shows Arsenal have suffered just four defeats in their last 25 matches in all competitions, all of which were on the domestic stage whilst Mikel Arteta's side have also collected 15 victories along the way as well.

Results in this season's Champions League though have perhaps been Arsenal's crowning glory to date as the north London club have registered no fewer than six wins within their eight matches played during the league phase of the competition which includes collecting victories on the road at Sporting Lisbon and Girona.
