Borussia Dortmund return to their SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for this upcoming 2nd leg tie against Atletico Madrid being 2-1 down after last week's 1st leg defeat in Madrid but the German side bounced back from that midweek loss with a 2-1 win away from home at Borussia M'gladbach in the German Bundesliga on Saturday while Atletico Madrid collected a third win on the trot in all competitions with a 3-1 home win against Girona in La Liga.

Borussia Dortmund have produced waves of success in their current season both on the domestic and European fronts as the hosts have put together three wins on the trot from mid-January through to towards the end of January along with a five-match winning streak from the start of March through to the end of that month.
