Kasimpasa returned to winning ways in the Turkish top flight on Friday when they secured all three points by way of chalking up an impressive 3-1 win away from home at Besiktas which ended a run of one defeat and two draws, while Istanbul Basaksehir extended their unbeaten run in the Super Lig to four games with a point earned in a 0-0 draw at home with Adana Demirspor on Saturday.

The recent win on the road at Besiktas has helped lift Kasimpasa up into the top half of the Super Lig table in eighth place and the hosts now find themselves within three points of Kayserispor and the top four pack ahead of Tuesday evening's clash against Istanbul Basaksehir at their Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadyumu.
