Cadiz's winless run in the Spanish top flight was extended to 19 games overall in La Liga when they held Villarreal to a 0-0 draw away from home last weekend but nevertheless, the hosts still remain in the bottom three of the domestic top flight table and three points adrift of safety, while Real Betis dropped down to eighth place in the La Liga standings after being held to a 1-1 draw at home with Getafe last time out.

The visitors have also produced a stubborn sequence of results on their travels so far in this season's La Liga campaign as Manuel Pellegrini's side have lost just three of their 11 outings on the road to date while seven of their last eight away games have also produced two goals or less.

The bigger picture shows Real Betis have lost just six of their last 21 away games in La Liga as well, so the visitors may just be able to gain the upper hand over their hosts in this Friday night's clash.
