Atletico Madrid were handed a third away defeat on the trot on Saturday when they lost 2-0 at Athletic Bilbao so needless to say Diego Simeone's side will be eager to return to the comforts of their Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano for Tuesday night's clash against Getafe who collected a second win on the trot in La Liga on the weekend with a comprehensive 3-0 win away from home at Sevilla.

Despite that recent loss away from home at Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid have produced some important performances and results throughout this La Liga campaign as the bigger picture shows, as the hosts have registered an impressive 11 wins within their 16 league matches to date and although their away record this season is relatively disappointing, results on home soil continue to impress.

Amazingly, Atletico Madrid possess a 100% winning record after winning each of their eight home games on the trot this term as they have made the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano a veritable fortress, while the bigger picture shows the hosts have now racked up an astonishing 17 home wins on the trot in the Spanish top flight with no fewer than 14 of these 17 wins also producing three goals or more.
