Famalicao registered a welcome 2-0 win away from home at Casa Pia last time out in the Portuguese top flight which halted a dismal run of six games without a win in the Primeira Liga, while Braga were handed a 2-0 defeat away from home at Porto so the visitors will be keen to set the record straight when these two teams face off at the Estádio Municipal 22 de Junho on Thursday night.

That recent win over Casa Pia has helped lift Famalicao up into seventh place in the Primeira Liga standings but there is still a significant 11 points separating the hosts from the top four pack in the Portuguese top flight so Famalicao really need all three points here if they're to start making inroads to erode this points deficit.
