Mid-table outfit Torino extended their unbeaten run in the Italian top flight to five games when they gained a point in a 1-1 draw away from home at Sassuolo and the hosts look poised to make a challenge upon the top six pack as they sit in 10th place in the Serie A table and just five points behind sixth placed Roma ahead of this upcoming clash against 13th placed Lecce.

Within this five-game unbeaten spell, Torino have also picked up wins against Napoli 3-0 at home which was an excellent result for Ivan Juric's side along with a 2-1 win away from home at Cagliari which have further boosted points collected by way of earlier draws with Genoa and Salernitana.

Following a worrying dip in form towards the end of September through to the third week in October which saw Torino fail to win any of their five games during this period and slipping to three defeats in the process, the hosts have since staged a solid if not stubborn recovery as they have been handed just two further losses in their subsequent 14 matches overall.

League wins overall have been tough to come by for Lecce who have managed to capture just five victories throughout the whole of this season's campaign to date, and it's interesting to note that all five of these wins have been recorded on home soil at their Stadio Ettore Giardiniero.

Recent times have seen an alarming dip in form though for Lecce as they have stumbled to six defeats in their last eight games and it's worth noting that five of these six losses were handed to Lecce on their travels by way of defeats at Inter Milan, Atalanta, Lazio, Genoa and Bologna.

Indeed, results away from home have eluded Lecce so far this season as the visitors have still yet to record a win on the road this term, drawing five but also losing seven of their 12 outings on the road to date.
