Borussia Dortmund's indifferent sequence of results lately in the Bundesliga continued on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw away from home at mid-table side Augsburg which now makes it just one win in seven games for Edin Terzic's side while second from bottom club Mainz slipped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Heidenheim, leaving the visitors in the relegation zone.

That rare win came in the form of what seemed to be a highly unlikely 2-0 home win against RB Leipzig but that has been Mainz's only highlight in what has otherwise been a miserable domestic top flight campaign for Jan Siewert's side, especially as Mainz have now managed to capture just this one win from their previous 20 matches overall in the Bundesliga.

Results away from home have been dominated by the draw as seven of Mainz's last 12 away games have resulted in stalemates along with losing the other five games, so the prospects of an away win here on Tuesday night for Mainz looks highly unlikely, especially as the visitors have managed to keep just three clean sheets in their last 19 away games overall.
