Ipswich Town were dealt another defeat in the Premier League last weekend when the Tractor Boys fell foul of Brentford in a 4-3 loss in the nation's capital.

Leicester City also suffered a loss in the English top flight last week when The Foxes came off second best in the east midlands derby, losing 3-1 at home to Nottingham Forest.

Ipswich Town have yet to pick up their first win of this new Premier League season upon their return to the top flight as Kieran McKenna's side have drawn four but lost five of their opening nine league matches.

Points picked up by way of four stalemates with Fulham, Brighton, Southampton and Aston Villa have been overshadowed by being handed five defeats at the hands of Liverpool, Manchester City, West Ham, Everton and Brentford respectively, leaving the Tractor Boys sitting third from bottom in the Premier League table.

Ipswich Town were given a baptism of fire as they faced Liverpool and Manchester City in their opening two games in their return to the big time but the hosts know they must start picking up wins sooner rather than later to avoid being cut adrift towards the bottom of the division.

However, the goals market appeals here as six out of Ipswich Town's nine games to date have resulted in both teams scoring.

Leicester City were denied a third win on the trot in the Premier League last weekend when Steve Cooper's men were soundly beaten 3-1 at home by east midlands rivals, Nottingham Forest, which in turn was a disappointing result for ex-Forest manager Cooper.

Leicester City had previously registered back-to-back wins against Bournemouth and Southampton in 1-0 and 3-2 victories respectively, and although The Foxes have also slipped to four defeats as well within their opening nine games, the two wins have been enough to keep the visitors out of the relegation zone for the time being.

Draws with Tottenham 1-1, Crystal Palace 2-2 and Everton 1-1 have been outweighed by suffering losses to the likes of Fulham, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest respectively so the prospects of a win for Leicester City seems to hang in the balance.

Goals should feature though at both ends of the pitch as no fewer than eight out of Leicester City's nine league matches so far this term have seen both teams hit the back of the net.
