Leicester City continued their march towards automatic promotion back to the Premier League when they registered a third league win on the trot in the Championship with a 2-1 win away from home at Watford which in turn saw The Foxes take their overall total points this season to 75 with 15 games remaining of the season, while Sheffield Wednesday kept their survival hopes alive by recording a 2-0 home win against Birmingham City on Friday night.

Despite being dealt a somewhat unexpected 3-1 loss away from home at Coventry City along with being held to a 1-1 draw at home by high-fliers Ipswich Town, Leicester City have nevertheless responded in impressive fashion by collecting three wins on the trot to ensure the hosts hold an 11-point lead at the top of the division.

Recent victories against Swansea City 3-1, Stoke City 5-1 and the aforementioned 2-1 win at Watford will give Enzo Maresca's side plenty of confidence ahead of this midweek tussle with lowly Sheffield Wednesday as the hosts look to take another step towards returning to the promised land with a three-point haul here.
