A number of runners lead the betting in a large field of entries.
Alfie Sherrin is one of the favourites here and won this race 2 years ago at odds of 14/1. Now and 11 year old it's surprising that Alfie Sherrin is this high up in the betting. However with a 4th place finish at Cheltenham last year, Alfie Sherrin may feature in the places.
Cantlow was tried at this distance back in 2012 but has since stepped down to shorter races, but has performed well of late with a win at Newbury and a 2nd place at Cheltenham in December. However Cantlow will be stepping up to this distance and may not have the stamina to pull off a win.
Hadrian's Approach has a lot of experience at this distance relative to other runners, and was 3rd in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham last year. Hadrian's Approach is very consistent at placing and may just have a chance here. Holywell has been pretty consistent over the last year after winning at Cheltenham last year. Holywell likes the soft to heavy going, and may well be worth a punt for a win here if the going suits.
WinDrawWin Prediction - Hadrian's Approach To Win. Holywell To Place.
