Champagne Fever heads the betting after 2 wins in the last 2 years at Cheltenham. Champagne Fever is an excellent runner, albeit perhaps doesn't like the softer going. Dodging Bullets although disappointing last year in the Novices' Hurdle, has picked up some good form with 4 wins out of 5 recently. Trifolium is up in the betting, and did not feature at Cheltenham last year, but if the conditions are soft to heavy then may have a chance ahead of the top favourites.
Rock On Ruby is surprisingly long odds considering a second place in last year's Champion Hurdle, and great form of late. Rock On Ruby is very consistent and a great all rounder, winning on heavy ground too. Valdez has picked up some good form of late with wins at Doncaster, Newbury and Exeter, and although this is Valdez's first Festival, if you fancy some longer odds then Valdez may be worth a punt.
After missing Cheltenham last year Felix Yonger makes an appearance after picking up a useful 2nd place in 2012. Felix Yonger is a Mullins trained horse, so perhaps worth an outside bet. Hinterland is a very consistent runner and makes a first appearance at the Cheltenham Festival. Hinterland may be worth a speculative place bet here.
WinDrawWin Prediction - Dodging Bullets To Win. Champagne Fever and Felix Yonger To Place.
