Camborne leads the betting in this wide open field from which any of 10 or more horses could win. Camborne has 3 wins in 5 races and has run well on the softer going. Hammerfest has a lot of experience relative to other runners here, and is very consistent with 8 1st or 2nd places in 11 races. Hammerfest should challenge here. Harrison's Cave is an inexperienced runner, but comes into this race with high hopes and should be respected. Anatolian has a decent record, and has run well under Frankie Dettori and should also be respected here. Spanish Duke has a lot of experience but has really struggled on the soft going and should be avoided here in our opinion. Conversely Stand To Reason has performed very well on the soft going, and at 12/1 is well worth a place bet after wins at Chester and Newbury this year. Ithoughtitwasover had an erratic career start, but has since improved and has also performed well on the soft going. Ithoughtitwasover may also be worth a place.
WinDrawWin Tips: Hammerfest to win. Stand To Reason to place.
