The Fugue leads the field here at only 2/1. The Fugue has stepped up to this distance well with a 3rd and 1st place at Epsom and York in May and June. Princess Highway should be well fancied, with a good record on soft going and two wins on the soft ground in March and May. Vow is a good horse, and has been trained to run at this distance, so that will not be an issues here. Again Vow has already won on the soft going, so the conditions may suit. Shirocco Star has been consistent in recent races, but it is to be seen how Shirocco Star will cope if the conditions are soft. Momentary is owned by the Queen, and at 8/1 is a good bet here. Momentary has run well on good and soft ground at Newmarket recently. Momentary is well worth a punt here. Pink Damsel has had only 1 career race to date, so it is difficult to judge whether Pink Damsel has potential here. Kailani performed well at Newmarket in May but failed to impress finishing 7th at Epsom in June.
WinDrawWin Tips: Momentary to win. Vow to place.
