Kazlian leads the field here at 7/2. Kazlian is an impressive 4 year old and has been on top form in 2012, with a 4th place at Cheltenham. Perhaps low value at only 7/2 though.
Paintball is second favourite at 7/1. Paintball did not run at Cheltenham, but had an excellent win in a large field at Sandown in March. At double the odds of Kazlian, Paintball is worth a punt here for the win.
Constant Contact is 8/1 and Ted Spread 9/1. Constant Contact does not have a great deal of turf hurdle experience, but has stepped up well, winning most recently at Hereford in March. At 8/1 Constant Contact is worth a punt at these odds. Ted Spread is not on great form and had a poor Cheltenham, and should be avoided in our opinion.
Dream Esteem is 11/1 and Sire De Grugy is 12/1, so is Gibb River. Dream Esteem did not run at Cheltenham, but has had an excellent 2012, winning at Newbury and Chepstow, and 3rd at Kempton. Dream Esteem is well worth a place bet here at this sort of value. Sire De Grugy has a decent record and a 36% career win rate. Sire De Grugy should be respected here, certainly to finish in the places. Gibb River has had a dip in form of late, but should not be ruled out after a good 2011.
Redera is 14/1 and with only a 13% win rate is too inconsistent to warrant any sort of bet in our opinion.
WinDrawWin Tips: Paintball to win. Dream Esteem and Sire De Grugy to place.
