Triangular is favourite here at 7/1 in a field of 26 runners. Triangular was not run at Cheltenham, but had a good win at Newbury in March. Triangular is not in the greatest form expected of a favourite in our opinion and with a career win rate of only 14%, we think the value is further down the field. Always Waining is 10/1. This experienced 11 year old is a bit unpredictable, but can perform well on the day. However, Always Waining is again too inconsistent to warrant odds this low in such a large field.

Frankie Figg is also 10/1, as is Little Josh. Frankie Figg has not had a win since 2010, and again is not good value in our opinion. Little Josh too has underperformed of late, but with a career win rate of 42% should be given some consideration here.

Gonebeyondrecall is 12/1 and a bit of an unknown, having not run in 2012 yet. Gonebeyondrecall could be one to watch on the day and perhaps worth a place bet if the odds start to move in. Fabalu is also 12/1 and has good form, finishing 2nd at Ascot 2 weeks ago, and 1st at Bangor on Dee in February. Fabalu primarily likes the heavy going, but the most recent two performances were on good going, so watch out for Fabalu here.

Apt Approach, Chance Du Roy, Tartak, Matuhi, Aimigayle are all priced 14/1 to 16/1. Apt Approach prefers heavy going, and you never know with the current weather, a big shower overnight could favour Apt Approach. Chance Du Roy won at Haydock in March, and could be a good bet for a place here with a 30% career win rate. Tartak's form has been poor of late, however Tartak pretty much always runs this race distance, so has a lot of experience. Matuhi had a disappointing Cheltenham and in our opinion will not show here too, and Aimigayle is far too inconsistent to warrant even a place bet here.

WinDrawWin Tips: Little Josh to win. Apt Approach and Chance Du Roy to place.
