Soccer - Pavlyuchenko seals Spurs exit
Tottenham start life without Roman Pavlyuchenko on Monday when they face Liverpool at Anfield after Lokomotiv Moscow completed the signing of the Russian international striker on a three-and-a-half-year deal. The two clubs reached an agreement for the 30-year-old on transfer deadline day but the 8million switch was not finalised until three days later.Spurs are 12/1 with bet365 to win 2-1 at Anfield while new signing Louis Saha, who moved to White Hart Lane from Everton on deadline day, is 9/1 to open the scoring.Pavlyuchenko joined Spurs from Spartak Moscow for 14million in August 2008 and went on to score 42 goals in 113 appearances for the club.Don't miss out on a free In-Play bet on Liverpool against Tottenham.

Rugby Union - Farrell aims to silence Scots
Owen Farrell is looking forward to playing at a hostile Murrayfield when England open their Six Nations campaign with the Calcutta Cup clash against Scotland. The Saracens youngster will be making his international debut in a game that England are 8/11 with bet365 to win while Scotland can be backed at 5/4.The 20-year-old has experience of big games after helping his club side win their first Aviva Premiership title at Twickenham against Leicester last year and is relishing the chance to take on Scotland. He said: "The team gets picked on form and nothing else and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in."I'm looking to take the atmosphere in. I'm looking to enjoy it and hopefully thrive off it. It's what you play rugby for, to enjoy those moments."

Soccer - Lindegaard faces spell on sidelines
Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could be sidelined for up to six weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage. The 27-year-old Dane's injury means David de Gea is likely to be in goal for Sir Alex Ferguson's team against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, a match United are 14/1 with bet365 to win 2-0.However, there is some good news for United, 7/5 to retain their Premier League title, as Wayne Rooney, Nani, Tom Cleverley and Ashley Young could all return to action this weekend.Cleverley has not featured in the first team since picking up a foot problem during the victory at Everton in October, while Young has not played since the end of December.Rooney and Nani have only been missing since last month's 2-1 win at Arsenal, but their return is a major boost for Ferguson as his side look to keep the pressure on Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Soccer - Wenger still believes
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists his side has what it takes to finish in the Champions League places, despite sitting seventh in the Premier League table. Wenger was left to rue missed chances after a frustrating goalless draw at Bolton on Wednesday evening left his side, who are 3/1 with bet365 to finish in the top four, five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. The Gunners, who had lost their last three league games, had a Robin van Persie header cleared off the line in the first half and the striker hit the bar and the post after the break."There is a long way to go and I am confident we can come back," said Wenger."We have confidence but we have to produce it game by game - for us every game in the championship is a cup final for us now."
